A very interesting and impressive archaelogical site. Dozens of very important Marae jutting out into the lagoon and up the hillside, once housing the royals. Marae Manunu is huge. There are also still functioing ancient stone zig-zag fish traps in the inlet. The nearby La Cité de Corail is a snokelling lagoon full of coral outcrops.
