A beautiful little city, French Polynesia´s second biggest, but a far cry from Papeete. Clean, tidy, no bustle and dominating exhaust fumes. The port and maritime complex are quite pretty and there´s a great olympic sized swimming pool to the north of town where the colourful reef fish swim in and out of from the lagoon through the missing fourth side.
