A pretty little seaside resort south of Constitución, built on a hillside with cliffs to the south and a wide expanse of black sand beach to the north. It scored the full brunt of the F-27 tsunami, with houses pushed up the hillside. One of them has been retained as monument, leaning over at an acute angle. Rebuilding is still in progress, but there are some nice cafes and restaurants open for trade.
