38:30S 71:30W 6hrs walk from Lonquimay (or 1hr bus + 3hr wait)
There are some very fine walks through a variety of huge old growth forests and higher up, Araucania forest. Above the treeline are incredible views across to Volcan Llaima, Sierra Nevada, Volcan Lonquimay, Crater Navidad (born 1988) and Volcan Talcahuano, all accessible in day hikes from the highway.
