A tiny village with a famous church amongst the bofedales under the ¨Payachatas¨, or twin peaks, of Volcan Parinacota and Volcan Pomerape, both more than 6000m. The nearby Lago Chungara, 4557masl, is one of the highest lakes in the world, and also one of the prettiest, with a backdrop of the same volcanoes as well as half dozen others.
