A very beautiful city centre full of magnificent colonial spanish buildings, highly ornate cathedrals and churches and interesting convents. The majestic Misti volcano stands tall and proud above the city, an example sadly ignored by its cheating taxi drivers, who in their defense are happy to point out that they´re not as bad as their counterparts in Trujillo.
