The Carribean

I`m quite disappointed, but I`ve cancelled my Carribean leg.

I will not support a fascist government - a government that subjects its innocent citizens and innocent visitors to mandatory fingerprinting, to random body cavity searches and to the possibility of rendition and being detained indefinitely without charge.

That government is that of the United States of America - no longer the great democracy and upholder of moral rights and civil liberty it was once respected for.

My One World Alliance ticket requires me to travel via the USA to get to the Carribean, which would mean fingerprinting, even just in transit. Fingerprinting does absolutely nothing to deter or to stop suicide bombers.

The cost of replacement airfares is higher than the package deals including airfare and accommodation from Europe. Thus, it is Lima to Madrid direct.
