A small oasis town that doesn´t see too many foreigners. It´s a good base for visiting some of the amazing coastal archaeological sites such as Sechin. The history here is as rich and fertile as the Casma and Sechin valleys. Chanquillo is hard to get to, but one of the most interesting sites of this trip.
