Bergen, South West Fjords, Norway

Bergen is a very pretty Hansa league town, and don't the tourists know it! The original 13th century buildings burnt down but the replacement 18th century wharf area is well worth a visit.

Take people literally when they tell you won't find a place to stay if you haven't booked. I didn't listen, and therefore didn't stay.
